| During
my first years of doll making I participated in many doll
shows. My dolls have won numerous awards. I presented my collection
of Character Dolls to various groups in
churches, community centers, women’s clubs, etc. Presentations
of my Character Dolls were featured in newspapers,
magazines, and in two television programs: The Eyes of
Texas and Channel 11. My latest exhibition Doll
Images by Polina Karlinsky was very successful.
Ron Stone from The Eyes of Texas on Channel 2 Houston,
told the story about me and my doll collection on a Thanksgiving
Day Program. This program had such a positive response that
for a couple of years it was shown again on Channel 2 during
an evening Thanksgiving broadcast.
Houston Channel 11 during an evening news program ran a
story about the unique “Portrait Dolls” and “Character Dolls”
created by Polina (Paula) Karlinsky.
An Episcopal Priest Rev. Wes Seeleger wrote a letter to
Ms. Ann Leifeste of Channel 8, “Introducing Polina and her
dolls.”

Several articles about my dolls were published in Houston
chronicle as well as in the other newspapers.
